Janice Sue (Ledford) Lillard, 63, of Benton died Saturday, June 8th, after a brief illness in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was an alumni of Bradley Central High School (Class of '67). She was also a member of Harmony Chapter #143 O.E.S.
She was retired from Hardwick Clothes and a founding member of the ladies auxillary of the West Polk County Fire & Rescue.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Dorothy (Mikel) Ledford and her mother-in-law Nina Lillard.
She leaves behind her husband of 37 years, Ralph Wendale, son Jeff of Ocoee, daughter Jeni, son-in law Jay Lawson and beloved grandson Jacob Lawson of Cleveland. Her step-grand daughters Tessa Lawson of Dalton, GA and Lacey Lawson of Cleveland. Her brothers, Larry (Barbara) Ledford of Cleveland, Charles Brent (Toni) Ledford of Hiram, GA and Mikel (Connie) Ledford of Goshen, NY. Her father in law Ralph (Judy) Lillard of Cleveland. Brother-in-law Dwight (Carolyn) Lillard of Old Fort, Sisters-in-law Karen (Glenn) Kennedy of Hixson and Kathy (Tony) Triplett of Powder Springs, GA and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her long time friend Peggy (Witt) Robinson of Cleveland.
