Wanda Lynn Allen Carlton, age 59, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Bradley County on June 29, 1953, a daughter of the late Billy Allen and Cora Lee Allen Blackwell.
She was preceded in death by Ricky Allen, James Wildman Allen and Sherry Gail Allen, all of Cleveland.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Joe Carlton; son Jason Hicks of Burlington, NC; four grandsons, Elijah Hicks, Caleb Hicks, Adam Cook, and Alan Cook; two great-grandsons; four sisters, Mary Peanut Choate (Terry) of Calhoun, Debra McCann of Calhoun, Vicki Wright of Cleveland, and Denise Howard (Jeff) of Georgetown; three brothers, Freddie Hines, Scottie Hines, and Shane Allen all of Cleveland; a sister-in-law Teresa Compton (Richard) of Summerville, GA; a brother-in-law Bob Carlton (Darlene) of Odessa, TX; several nieces and nephews; and one very special friend, Linda Drake of Augusta, GA.
