Charles Benjamin Bivens, 74, a resident of Conasauga, passed away at his home, Saturday, January 12, 2013, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Bivens, children; Sheila Sherrill and husband Phillip of Chatsworth, GA, Kay German of Etowah, Paul Bivens and wife Tammy of Old Fort, Becky Ledford and husband Randy of Conasauga, George Maxwell and wife Debbie of Cleveland, and Tonya Carroll of Cleveland. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.
Service:
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 14, 2013, 2P.M. at an alternate site of Grissom Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jackie Cardin officiating.
The family will receive friends at the same alternate location of Grissom Funeral Home on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 12P.M. to 2P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be held at Conasauga Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
