Rosalie Joan Colfer

Rosalie J. Colfer, 82, of Benton TN, succumbing to a prolonged illness, died peacefully on May 28, 2014 at a hospice facility in Chattanooga TN. She was attended by her dedicated daughter, Sally A. Dostie of Benton. Rosalie was born in Hallowell Maine on July 28, 1931, the daughter of the late Maynard and Esther Clement of Gardiner Maine. She attended Hallowell High School and had lived in Augusta Maine prior to relocating to Benton in 2003. She had been employed by the State of Maine Dept of Transportation for many years until her retirement in 1990.



She was predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Colfer of Augusta Maine, her daughter Kathleen (Colfer) Adams of Chesapeake, VA. Mrs Colfer is survived by her daughter, Sally A. Dostie, four grand-daughters, Amy Ike of Sydney, OH, Michelle Fink of Delaware OH, Rebecca Dostie of Columbus OH, Emily Wyland of Commerce City, CO and seven great-grandchildren.
