Fay Burchfield McSpadden, 78, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at her residence. The daughter of the late Cecil and Leona Hembree Burchfield, she had resided most of her life here in Bradley County. She was a longtime member of Valley View Baptist Church, was employed by Cleveland Bank & Trust which is now First TN, and had founded along with husband, Apple Valley Orchard in 1974.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years; Charles McSpadden, Sr. of Cleveland, one son; Chuck (Joy) McSpadden of Cleveland, two grandchildren; Caitlin and Charlie McSpadden of Cleveland, three sisters; Ann (Grady) Chastain of Cleveland, Eva (Elbert) Austin of Old Fort and Emma (Bill) of Tallahassee, FL, one brother; Gilbert (Delia) Birchfield of Tullahoma, TN and several nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members and friends.
Service:
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at Valley View Baptist Church. The family and friends will meet at Moores Chapel Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 for a graveside service.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the church from 4-7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Valley View Baptist Church
