Linda Sue Richmond Lawson, age 71, of Etowah and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday morning at a local healthcare facility. A native of Cleveland, Sue spent most of her life in Bradley County before moving to Etowah in 2009. She retired as a nurse at Bradley Hospital now Sky Ridge Medical Center after 30 years of service. Being a nurse was her calling and she enjoyed helping others as well as spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Millard and Jessie Avis Dunn Richmond; daughter, Vonda Kaye Lawson; and brother, Jack Richmond.
She is survived by sons, Buck Lawson of Cleveland and David Lawson and wife Martha of Delano; grandchildren, Cody Wilson and Ally Lawson of Cleveland, and Michael and Matthew Lawson of Delano.
