Jimmy Nelson Miller, 68, a resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014. He was retired from APS after 33 years of service. He was an avid golfer and loved going to the Caribbean and was planning his next trip there. He served two tours of Duty in Vietnam in the United States Army and was member of the National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Wilson Miller and Mae Belle Fritz Miller; brother, Glen Miller and sister, Janette Underwood. He is survived by his wife Louise Miller of Cleveland; three children, Eric Miller and wife, Tabatha, Kevin Miller and Karen Perez and husband, Victor, all of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Ashley Perez, Adam Miller, Noah Perez and Anna Miller; mother-in-law, Rosemary Poston; siblings, Buddy Miller of Cookeville, Patsy Sipe of Cookeville, Carolyn and Bill Payne of Cleveland, Charlotte Sipe of Smyrna and Cathy and Ronnie Arthur of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Tony Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home.
