Mary L. Maurer

Mary L. Maurer, 86, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home. She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cleveland. She was an avid bridge player and was a "Red Shoe" member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Maurer; parents, John and Emma Jetten Wurzer and two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her children, Eric Maurer (Mary) of Cleveland, Lynn Voelker (Thomas) of Cleveland, Karen Spivey (Hanc) of Menomonee Falls, WI, Laura Maurer (Robert Stroo) of Menomonee Falls, WI and Mark Maurer (Sue) of Appleton, WI; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Wurzer and sister, Theresa Schmidt. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Michael F. Nolan officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church prior to the service.
