Clyde R. Beck, Sr. 74, a resident of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He enjoyed preaching and singing for the Lord. He worked as a brick and block mason carpenter until he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wes and Leona Beck; brothers, Clarence, Frankie, Clint and Claude; sisters, Inez, Geneva, Margaret and Hazel. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Lois; children, Ray Beck and wife, Kathy, Allen Beck and wife, Darlene, Jamie Beck and wife, Trudy and Marty Beck and wife, Karen; children from a previous marriage, Bud Pierce, Jennifer Regan, special daughter, Letha Gibson, Tammy Green, David White, Larry White and Connie White; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Beck and wife, Shavannah and Roy Beck and wife, Linda. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in the chapel of Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home with the Reverend Eddie Scott and Kim Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Beck Family Cemetery with the family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
