Gloria Delores Hooper

Gloria Delores Hooper, 78, a resident of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in an East Ridge hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hooper; parents, James and Gladys Swanson; siblings, Leah, Maurice and Warner Swanson. Survivors include, her niece that she raised as her own, Tara Dill and husband, Bo; Tara's children, Brett and Kari Dill; Gloria's siblings, Lynn and Gail Swanson of Chattanooga, Ruth Bates of Chattanooga, Carroll and Mary Ruth Swanson of AL, Ralph Swanson of UT, Stanley and Elizabeth Swanson of GA, Gladys McCallister of LA, Linda Hickman of FL, Nina and James Riley of GA, Darlene and Tony Burrell of Cleveland and Jim Swanson of Chattanooga. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Midway Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA with the Reverend Jackie Swanson officiating. The family will receive friends after the services in the fellowship hall at the church.
