Jeanette Shamblin

Jeanette Shamblin, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in a local healthcare facility. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Sr. and Millie Johnson; siblings, Willie Mae Kirkpatrick and George Johnson, Jr. She is survived by her children, Richard Shamblin and wife, Barbara of Old Fort and Gary Shamblin and wife Kelly of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Angela Shamblin, Brian Shamblin and Warren Langley; two great-grandchildren, Kelsie Davis and Bailey Rogers; sister, Betty Ogle and husband, Willard of Cleveland. Several nieces, nephews and extended family member also survive. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015 in the chapel of Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the funeral home.
