Geneva Steed

Geneva Steed, 86, a resident of Elkhart, IN, originally from Cleveland, passed away Tuesday evening, February 3, 2015 at Greenleaf Health Campus, Elkhart, IN. She was member of the Elkhart Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife. She was known for her smile and the smile that she brought to our faces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Steed; her parents, Wilburn and Lydia B. Thomas; siblings, Charles Watkins, Ruth Howard, W.L. Thomas and Dillard Thomas. She is survived by her son, Wm. Michael Steed and wife, Sylvia W.; grandchildren, Michelle L. Steed, Lorelei C. Steed and husband, Patrick Zrubek, Garrett Steed and wife, Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Garrison Steed; sister, Ina Robinson and brother, Butch Blassingame. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
