John Franklin Sutton

John Franklin "Da" Sutton, age 73, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015, in a local hospital. He was of the Church of God faith. He was retired from the United States Army after 26 years of service to his country. He was also retired from International Paper. He was affectionately known by family and friends as "Da". He was preceded in death by his parents, John G. and Minnie L. Sutton. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Sutton, Cleveland, TN; one son and daughter in law, Lee and Catherine Sutton, Ooltewah, TN; one sister, Wanda Sutton, Cleveland, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 8, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Restoration Fellowship Church 211 Trewhitt Drive S.E. Cleveland, TN. with Pastor John Looper, officiating. Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery with John Tatum, Jason Litwicki, Matt Simons, Tyler Simons, Chris Dale and J. C. Looper serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 7, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home and on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Restoration Fellowship church.
