James Larry Saffels

James Larry Saffels, 74, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at a local hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired after 44 years as the owner of Saffels Roofing. James was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Ruth Saffels; parents, Irby and Mildred Davis Saffels; and siblings, Mary Ann Murphy and Richard Saffels. Survivors include his children, Kenneth Saffels and wife, Sandy, Tammy Ruth Saffels, Joe David Saffels and Jason William Saffels, all of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Tabatha Blankenship, Joshua Saffels and Emily Margaret Whalen; and two great grandchildren, Kyra Nicole Clara Simpson and Alyssa Arianna Rockmore.
