Daniel "Scott" Dupree, age 56, native of Atlanta, GA and currently a resident of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Chattanooga. He was employed for 20 years at Clyde's Auto Glass in Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Dupree, mother and step father, Fay D. and Marvin McElwaney; three brothers, Arthur David Dupree, Randall Dennis Dupree McElwaney and Marvin Euguene McElwaney. He is survived by two brothers, Jimmy Dupree, Canal Winchester, Ohio and Philip McElwaney, Senoia, GA; 4 sisters, Marsha Burdette, Fayetville, GA, Rebecca Brazil, Franklin, GA, Janice Simpson, Macon, GA and Audrey Mathis, Griffin, GA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 22, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dupree officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery, Monday, February 23rd, 2015, at 10a.m., with full military honors.
