Jack Brownfield passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. He was born on April, 5, 1943 in Winchester, Tennessee. His family moved to Shelbyville, Tennessee when he was a young boy. He married Barbara Bellenfant, also from Shelbyville. After living in California for several years, they moved to Cleveland, in 1976. Jack and Barbara founded Specialized Operations Services, where he served as President. He was a member and an Elder of First Christian Church, (D.O.C.). He loved his family, reading, traveling, antiques, cooking, and his friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jackson Brownfield and Frances Cameron Potts. Brother, Sam Brownfield, and sister, Betty Grace Curlee. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Barbara Brownfield. Two sons, William Jackson Brownfield, (Kim), and Jeffrey Todd Brownfield, (Laurie), two sisters, Lorraine Hill and Susan Stewart, (Mike); one brother, Tom Potts; and one brother-in-law, Larry Curlee. Five grandchildren, Kacy, Jackson, Carter, Lauren and Laiken. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Saturday, March, 7, 2015, from 5-7pm at Grissom Serenity Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel of Grissom Serenity Funeral Home, following visitation, at 7P.M. with Pastor Karyn Bogert and Dr. Stanley McDaniel officiating. Graveside service will be at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Shelbyville, Tennessee, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 3:00 CST, with Jeff Brownfield, Jackson Brownfield and Jack Roach officiating.
