Jimmy Ray Triplett

Jimmy Ray Triplett, age 68, resident of Birchwood, TN, passed away early Saturday morning, July 18, 2015, at his residence. He was a farmer and an avid fisherman. He loved the outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Edith Rhea Triplett, one daughter, Rhonda Triplett and one sister, Carlene Cross. He is survived by his loving daughters, Debbie Triplett, Birchwood, TN and Amanda Triplett and husband, Tom Bowers, of Harrison, TN; 2 granddaughters, Shelby Beasley and Abigail Beasley; one sister, Mary Triplett, Cleveland, TN. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Grasshopper Church of God with Rev. Johnny Raper, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends Monday, July 20, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
