Horace Danny Palmer

Horace (Danny) Palmer, 66, of Ooltewah, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015. He was born July 18, 1949. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father: Harry Palmer; three brothers, Joe, Larry and Roy Palmer; two sisters, Linda and Brenda Palmer; two grandsons: Leroy Jackson and Andrew Randolph. Survivors include his wife: Anna Palmer; mother: Willamae Palmer; three daughters: Barbara Palmer, Trisha and Wayne Randolph and Autumn Palmer; two stepsons: Greg and Tammy Young, Keith and Stephanie Young; two sisters: Sandra Hughes and Shirley Gates; two brothers: Calvin and Alvin Palmer; seven grandchildren: Joshua Palmer, Jaclynn Roberson, Austin Randolph, Brady, Hailie, Sarah, and Trevor Young; two great grand-children: Kamaria and Kylie Palmer. There will be a memorial open to family and friends at Mountain Oaks Chapel, 9508 Church Street, Ooltewah TN, 37363 Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 4 to 6 PM. A private burial will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Grissom Serenity Funeral Home, Mark S. Grissom, Funeral Director.
