Robert S. Fritz, 86, passed away on August 12, 2015 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born in Red Wing, Minnesota and raised in Lake City, Minnesota, he was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings and Gopher fan. He made a career in the United States Air Force, globetrotting from Germany to Vietnam to Korea and back to the USA. He retired with honors after 23 years to join the civil service as a Construction Manager and Civil Engineer to further serve the Air Force at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL. As a youth, he was an avid baseball player, baseball umpire, basketball coach, and supporter of this daughter's love of figure skating. A dedicated family man, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Gale and Robert Audier, and his four grandchildren: Madeline, Mia, Caroline and Roan. The family is sincerely grateful to his special care giver, Kristy Heflin who loved him like family. They shared a wonderful bond that made his last years richer.
