Lindsay was a truck driver and was known by his friends as "Chew". He was employed by Hudson Materials of Chattanooga. Lindsay was an avid fisherman and a loyal Tennessee Vols fan. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, but confessed it was never the same without Dale Earnhardt. Lindsay was a selfless man; devoted to his family. He often donated his money and time to help those in need.
