Calvin Anderson Gray

Calvin Anderson (C.A.) Gray, Jr., born December 4, 1944, departed this life on September 22, 2015 to enter his heavenly, eternal rest provided for him, where there will be no more sadness, pain, tears, sickness, or death. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church of Cleveland. Calvin has now been freed from the cancer and heart disease suffered for almost two years. His entire family rejoices with him in this freedom. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Jeanette Gray, his wife of twenty nine years, Onita Hall Gray, and his father in law, Russell Hall. His survivors include his wife of twenty years, Claudia Lakins Gray. One son, Calvin Anderson (Trey) Gray, III and wife Chrissy Frederick Gray, all of Cleveland; his mother in law, Kathleen Hall of Ellaville, GA. Two step daughters, Lisa Center and Christi Lakins Eckstein and husband Kenny, all of Cleveland. Three grandsons; Cooper Gray, Avery Gray and Benjamin Gray. One granddaughter, Gracie Gray, all of Cleveland. Also surviving are step-grandsons; Cody Center and Kendall Eckstein and one step-granddaughter; Stormy Center, of Cleveland. Many wonderful friends and extended family members also survive. The final gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 12:00 at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Scott Peterson officiating.
