Virginia Duncan Hartline, formerly of Knoxville, TN., passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, September 23, at her home in Cleveland, TN. to join her husband, Bob, in Heaven. She was the daughter of the late Ella Duncan and Jake W. Stallings of Knoxville. She married the late Robert Neil Hartline on August 13, 1943. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Hartline) Crossland of Knoxville, Dr. Robert S. Hartline, Cleveland, TN, and Carol (Hartline) McNamee of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Robby Crossland, Knoxville, Steve Hartline, Jr., Jake Hartline and John Hogan, Cleveland, TN and Raleigh McNamee, Knoxville. One sister-in-law, Mrs. Tren Wooten of Georgia. Great grandchildren are Reagan & Holden Hartline, Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Aunt, Athylene Hancock, and children, Randy Hancock and Mary Attkisson all of Knoxville. She was employed for several years by Dr. Frank Jones and ran the Blood Bank at Bradley Memorial for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cahutta for many years. The family greatly appreciates Mom's wonderful loving caregivers, Gillian Brown, Alysa Brown, and Heather Meeks. You guys made Mom's life better and your loving care kept her happy. Special thanks to Mom's "3rd daughter" Gena Didona Evans for being Mom's little helper since childhood, "helping" Dad when he retired and is a very important part of our family. When Gena married Tony Evans, he also became our family member. Much love to both of them. We are blessed to have them in our lives.
