Robert "Bob" Douglas Gifford

Bob Gifford, age 57, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his home. He was born in Michigan but had spent the past 4 years in Bradley County. Bob was a veteran of the Air Force and the Marine Corps. He was an avid motorcycle rider, and enjoyed remote control planes. Bob was a member of the Bradley County Radio Control Model Air Plane Club. He is preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Treat Arnett. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Liz Gifford of Cleveland; one son, Doug (Erin) Gifford of Tecumseh, MI; one daughter, Crystal (Chad) Markwell, St Louis MI; six grandchildren, Destiny Gifford, C.J. Markwell, Hope Gifford, Colton, Markwell, Angel Gifford, Chasity Markwell; two brothers, Bruce (Cheri) Gifford, of Ft Worth, TX; Jim (Sally) Gifford of Adrian, MI; one sister, Jackie (Pat) Miller, of Blissfield, MI; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A Memorial service will be held in Michigan at a later date. Arrangements are being held by Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home.
