Bonnie Mae Ledford Goodner, age 83, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at her home. She was born in Georgia but spent the majority of her life in Bradley County. Bonnie was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and living on the farm. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Goodner, son, Chester McNeese, her parents, Dewey and Texie Mae Ledford, and thirteen siblings. She is survived by four children, Connie Cartwright of Cleveland, Mary (Jim) Newton of Cleveland, Joyce Goodner of Cleveland, Ann (Les) Logan of Cleveland, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, one sister, Mattie Ledford (Bill) Goben of Cleveland, one brother, Joe Ledford of Sweetwater, TN and her special friend Frances Reno of Cleveland, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive. A celebration of life and home going service for Bonnie Mae Goodner will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Alred Johnson officiating. Internment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home.
