Clyde James Rominger

July 3, 1922 — January 10, 2016

Clyde James Rominger, age 93, died January 10, 2016 at his residence.  Clyde was a resident of Cleveland, and formerly of White, Ga.  He was a lifelong member of Red Hill United Methodist Church.  He was a Sunday School Superintendent, and Veteran of WWII.  Clyde enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Inez Rominger; parents, William and Lula Rominger; brothers, Ralph, Lewis, Eugene, Charles Rominger; sister, Nina Connor.

He is survived by his daughter; Sandra D. (William) Laycock of White, Ga., three grandchildren; Rev. W. David (Julie Anne) Laycock, of Waleska, GA, Emily S. (Chris) Cowan C.P.A. of Cartersville, GA; Officer Michael J. Laycock of Atlanta, GA.; three great grandchildren, Micah and Sydney Laycock, Juliette Cowan; one brother, Calvin Rominger of TX.

A Celebration of Life of Clyde Rominger, will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at Grissom Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. David Laycock and Rev. Carolyn Braddy officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016  at Grissom Serenity Funeral Home.

Interment to follow the service with Military Honors at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
