Anne Sheridan Sakowski

February 13, 1929 — January 13, 2016

Anne M. Frey Sakowski passed away after a long illness at her home on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 with her son and daughter close. Born in Mayfield, Pa on February 13, 1929.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Sakowski, son, Gary Joseph Frey, Great Granddaughter, Sarah Jane Taylor, Grandson, Eric W. Frey and Great Grandson Joshua D. Reneau.

She is survived by one brother, Frank Sheridan of MA; her son, Harold Michael Frey, Daughter, Sue Ann Taylor and son in law; James S. Taylor. She leaves behind five grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren and 2 great- great- grandchildren.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all. Per her request, there will be no service, she will be cremated and her remains interred at Sunset Memorial Gardens next to her husband and grandson. We want to thank Caris Hospice for the wonderful care they gave her, especially Emily Gomez, you all made it possible for her to remain at home where she wanted to be. Our heart felt thanks to you all.

“Do not ask me to remember” Do not ask me to remember, don’t try to make me understand, let me rest and know your with me, kiss my cheek and hold my hand. I’m confused beyond your concept. I am sad and sick and lost. All I know is that I need you to be with me at all cost. Do not lose your patience with me, do not scold or curse or cry. I can’t help the way I’m acting, can’t be different though I try. Just remember that I need you, that the best of me is gone. Please don’t fail to stand beside me, love me till my life is done.
