Vernice Wiggins Morse

Vernice Wiggins Morse, age 97, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was born in Lakeland City, Florida on August 9, 1918 to Morris and Pearl Wiggins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Rev. T.R. Morse.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Morse of Cleveland and Rona (Roland) Vines of Panama City, FL; five granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; and a host of friends.

The Home Going Celebration will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Services with her granddaughter, Claniece Moore officiating.

The interment will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
