Mary Ruth Moore

Mary Ruth Lee Moore, 84, of Cleveland, passed away at her home, Thursday, July 7, 2016.

She was a member of Waterville Baptist Church.  She was an avid reader and loved to sew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Moore; her parents, Charlie and Flossie Lee; brothers, Frank Lee, George Lee and Roy Lee.

She is survived by her children, Denise Key (Scott) of Old Fort, TN, Janice Carter (Jimmie) of McDonald, TN, Melinda Moore of Cleveland and Darrell Moore (John Yanosko) of Chattanooga; two grandchildren, Chase Groomes and Drew Walden; brother, Harden Lee; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of the Life will be held Monday, July 11, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Grissom- Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Brooks and Rev. Allan Lovelace officiating.

Interment will follow at Hilcrest Cemetery with Joe Brooks, Frank Reece, John Yanosko, Don Pierce, Scott Key and Jimmie Carter serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 10, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
