Delbert Edmund Coulter

Delbert Edmund Coulter, 94, of Riceville, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, at his residence.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He served in WWII where he was a proud Bombardier.  He was retired from Lockheed where he worked as an aeronautical engineer.

He is was predeceased in death by his wife, Sarah Francis Coulter; children, Alan Coulter and Seydel Knapp; several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Gregory Coulter (Victoria), Suzane Coulter (Darby Womac), all of Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Knapp, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Knapp, all of Baton Rouge, LA.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Streun officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
