Heaven gained a beautiful angel as Terri, age 53 was finally healed of her five year fight with cancer on Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was truly a fighter and she will be remembered by everyone who knew, loved, and worked with her. Terri’s loving daughter, Nikki was at her side as she took her last breath and stepped into eternity.
Terri was preceded in death by her father, Lester Hutto and mother, Maggie Bell Prince Hutto.
Terri is survived by her “reason for fighting so hard” which was her daughter, Nikki Slaughter and granddaughter, Alyssa Ford of Cleveland.
Her surviving siblings include her brother John Adams (wife Sandy) of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Tami Yates (husband Doug) and Cathy Hutto Smith of Cleveland.
Other family members include Alex Gilley of Cleveland and Donnie Slaughter of Cleveland. Terri is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews, along with her family members and close friends who loved her deeply.
Terri was employed by Shaw Industries for 23 years and loved her animals with all her heart.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home with a funeral service at 7:00 in the chapel of Grissom Serenity Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Dupree officiating.
