Junior Arnold Shamblin

Junior Arnold Shamblin, born May 27, 1937 passed away on Saturday evening, February 4, 2017 in a local hospital.

He lived in Charleston, Tennessee for most of his life and was retired from Hardwick Stove.  He was of Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee and Bonnie Rogers Shamblin; brothers, Wilburn Bill Shamblin, Houston “Cotton” Shamblin, David Howard Shamblin; sister, Margaret Ann Smith; sisters- in-law, Shirley Shamblin, Jeanette Shamblin and Carol Shamblin.

He is survived by his sister, Edna Mae (Floyd) Wade; two brothers, Gene Shamblin and Kenneth Shamblin; brother-in-law, Fred Smith; sister-in-law, Phyllis Shamblin; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Grissom- Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, February 8, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

The family will meet at Riceville Cemetery on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. for interment.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. at Grissom- Serenity Funeral Home.
