Gerald Gardner went to his rest, in his heavenly home, on April 12 2017,after a lengthy illness. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He was an E-4 in the U.S. Army.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; Carmella Lee Rego and Herbert Gardner. He is survived by his ex-wife; Linda Allen, by his brothers; James Gardner and Clifford Briggs, his sons; William and Michael Gardner. He was blessed by two grandchildren.
He worked for several years as a glass maker in California where he meet his ex-wife, and had two children, until he became ill. His greatest joys in life were his sons, cars, fishing and was a really good cook. He was a man of high integrity, and was an example to his sons of what a good dad should be.
Dad had a way of making his sons feel special. From the nick names that he gave us to the way he taught us how to work on cars and even playing video games. Slow to anger at his sons even with mental illness. A sense of humor that could make just about anyone laugh. We hope to meet you in heaven one day. You will be in our memories. So please Dad, go be at rest and know to us that you were the best.
