David Keith “Toby” Bettis, 58, a native and lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a truck driver. His passions in life were fishing, watching wrestling, and most of all truck driving.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Bettis.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Bettis of Cleveland; two sisters, Tina Bettis of Rossville, GA, and Lisa Cochran and husband Ronnie of Resaca, GA; and 13 nieces and nephews, Courtney Bettis, Heather Bettis, Andrew Cochran, Cheyanne (Micah) Huckabey, Hannah Williams, Dy’marcys Bradford, Jada Adams, Ja’nyah Adams, Rashyla Ellison, Josiah Bradford, Malakai Bradford, Emma Huckabey, and Gracynn Huckabey.
A remembrance of life celebration will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Bettis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017 prior to the service at the funeral home.
