Carl Wesley Kountz, Sr.

Carl Wesley Kountz, Sr, 50, of Cleveland, TN, passed away at an area hospital on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

He was born March 26, 1967 in Chattanooga, TN to James and Lynda Taylor.  Carl had attended Mowbry Mountain Church of God.  He loved his job as a long haul driver where he never met a stranger.  Anytime you were around Carl he would soon have you laughing.  There was never a dull moment with him.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, James Nicholas and Lynda Taylor Kountz and brother, James Arthur Koontz.

He is survived by his sons, Carl Kountz, Jr and Robert Delaney; his former spouse Michelle Kountz; and special friend Billie Norwood.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
