Sylvia Whitehead

Sylvia Audrey Whitehead, age 82, of Cleveland passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 in a local hospital.

Sylvia was born October 2, 1935 in Margate, England to Arthur Hedger and Doreen Howgego Hedger.

Sylvia was a member of the English Womens Club.  She was a successful business woman and loved to write poetry.  She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Willard H. Whitehead and her daughter, Jennifer D. Glover.

Sylvia is survived by her sons, Robert D. Whitehead, Donald L. Whitehead and Greg A. Whitehead (Lisa), all of Cleveland; her brother, Reg Hedger of Australia.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
