Mary B. Mosley

Mary B. Mosley, 90, passed away at a long term care facility on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

She was born July 27, 1927 in Bruce, MS to Walter and Audrey Johnson.  Mary was a retired Executive Assistant with American Uniform and a charter member of the Westmore Church of God. She was known for her strength and intellect.  Mary valued education for her children and grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Mosley, Sr.; parents, Walter and Audrey Brantley Johnson; siblings, Francis Avery, Sidney Johnson, and Dean Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Jane French (Robert), James C. “Buddy” Mosley, Jr. (Linda), Jerre Blake Mosley (Adelia), Bruce Johnson “Johnny” Mosley; grandchildren, Blake, Mary, James, Audrey, Ethan, Caroline, Courtney, and Carmen; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Avery, Mason, Parker, and Owen.

The family would also like to recognize and thank the staff at the Lantern at Morning Point in Collegedale for their excellent service and care.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with the Reverend Wendell Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
