Linda Ann Long Knabb, age 61, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday morning, July 7, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland.
Born on April 11, 1957 in Thibodaux, Louisiana, to the late Gerald and Doris Ann Long, she had lived in Cleveland since 1985. She will always be remembered for her welcoming, caring, and giving spirit. She loved music, playing drums in the church choir, coffee, and spending time in the mountains. She graduated with a dual masters from Lee University and was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years Dr. James Knabb of Cleveland; children, Chris, (Kari) Knabb of Cleveland, Matthew Knabb of Cleveland, Michael and fiancée LeAnne Rial of Maryville, and Catherine(Kevin) Palmer of Hendersonville, North Carolina; granddaughter, Emerald Rae Palmer of Hendersonville, North Carolina; sisters, Alice (Greg) Levron of Knoxville and Ellen Matherne of Deallmonds, Louisiana; brother, James Long of Cleveland; and nephew, Scott Matherne of Desallmonds, Louisiana.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11. 2018 from St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to St Therese of Lisieux General Fund for the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
