Deborah Kay McGill

Deborah Kay (Taylor) McGill, 63, passed away peacefully at her home July 4, 2018 with loved ones by her side. 

Deborah, or Debbie as she was known to many, was born March 25, 1955 in Barberton, Ohio where she grew up and spent her early years. She then moved to the Cleveland, TN area in her early 20’s, where she has resided since.  Debbie touched the lives of many and always had the ability to see the good in others.  Always optimistic, one of her more notable quotes was “this too shall pass”.   She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. 

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, William “David” Taylor and younger brother Bob LeFever. 

She is survived by her mother, Linda Treadway; sisters, Paula (Ed) McFarland, Nancy (Gary) Yingling and Sherrie Cox; daughters, Michelle (John) Kurtz, Angela (Jeremy) Wilt, and Brittany McGill; son David (Jen) McGill; and grandchildren, Kylie, Emily, Brooklyn, Chase, Xander, Megan, Grace and David. 

A Gathering of Friends will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home located at 3010 N Ocoee St.
